We’re an inclusive residential community for adults with and without disabilities who want to live and work together in a shared-living model, contributing in a sustainable way to collective welfare through purposeful activities such as biodynamic farming.

El Cauce is based on the community model developed by the international Camphill
Movement, which includes more than 120 residential villages in 20 countries.

The social life is what's most important in a Camphill community, that quality that makes life 'therapeutic' without being therapy. Because many people who choose to live in a Camphill community have different learning profiles, what we often call 'special needs', and others decide to live there precisely because there is social value in living together regardless of each individual's abilities, in terms of human learning it is incredibly enriching.

El Cauce is an incredible place, it has everything I need to reach my goal of living independently. Lots of open space and contact with nature. And an enormous vegetable garden where I can apply all that I'm learning, that I have learned, about organic farming and what I am studying in the biodynamic agriculture course…. It's the place that I always imagined: no noisy traffic, trucks, smog…. It's a place where I can develop and grow and have a future.

Alejandro Traferro

My vision of the future is to live here, it's quieter, I want to be close to nature… I like being in the countryside, the city makes me very nervous and I don't like it… I like the countryside more and I feel much more calm here.

Máximo Godoy

I am heard. I am peaceful. I like to live in nature. I like to live close to animals. I like to listen to others. I found my place.
